Craft breweries often use low pressure steam boilers for brewing. Eichenauer provides the electric immersion heaters for steam boilers. Our heaters can be used in a new steam boiler or as a replacement heater. Installation of the heater is an easy procedure. The heating elements are designed to be immersed (direct contact) in the liquid medium. This is a very efficient and cost effective method because no energy is lost in the heat transfer. Eichenauer heaters provide a consistent steam level which is important in brewing a consistent product . Our electric heaters are also a safer alternative than gas heaters which can increase the risk of combustion during brewing.

Our electric heaters are energy efficient and don't require carbon offsets like fossil fuel and natural gas fired elements. We Build It For You

Our standard tubular element heater sheaths are available in 316 stainless steel or INCOLOY. These sheath materials resist scaling and corrosion, extending the longevity of the heating element. We also offer passivation for our stainless steel and INCOLOY sheaths - chemically passivated sheaths add to corrosion resistance and sheath protection.

Standard flanges are offered in Steel or Stainless Steel. Tubular element heaters can be mounted to a customized 2.5", 3.0", 4.5" or 5.75" square flange or a 6" round flange. Eichenauer also offers standard flanged heaters in varying kilowatts ratings, voltages, and temperature ranges.
